Two Attorneys Join the NDG Legal Team

Nehmad, Davis & Goldstein is excited to announce the addition of two new attorneys - Rachel Koutishian and Emmanual Sanfilippo III, Esq

  Rachel Koutishian

Rachel Koutishian is an Ocean County native who graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, her primary instrument being the flute. While at Rowan University, she was the principal flautist and a featured soloist in the Rowan University Orchestra, Rowan University Wind Ensemble, Rowan University Concert Band, and Rowan University Flute Ensemble.

While in law school, Rachel interned for the New Jersey Office of Parental Representation, where, as a law student, she was given the opportunity to litigate Title 9 and Title 30 cases brought by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency. She also interned at Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, focusing on sealing and expunging criminal records to assist prior felons in gaining meaningful employment.

She then graduated Widener Delaware School of Law with a pro bono distinction, requiring a significant amount of volunteer legal work in the community.

After graduating, Rachel clerked for the Honorable M. Susan Sheppard, Presiding Judge of Chancery in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Rachel was also a certified mediator for the Superior Court, Civil Part.

Rachel is currently a member of the Vincent S. Haneman American Inn of Court as well as the Young Lawyer's Division of the Atlantic County Bar Association.

  Emmanual Sanfilippo III, Esq.

Emanuel Sanfilippo, III, Esq. is a new addition to the team at Nehmad Davis & Goldstein. Emanuel, or as he is better known, "Manny," focuses his practice in the areas of land use, real estate, commercial transactions, and local government.

During the pursuit of his law degree, Manny interned for the Hon. Bernard E. DeLury, Jr., P.J.Cr., and clerked for a regional South Jersey law firm. While a clerk, Manny focused upon issues involving corporate and construction litigation.

Prior to joining Nehmad Davis & Goldstein, Manny clerked for the Hon. Michael J. Blee, A.J.S.C. where he worked predominantly with matters involving land use, probate, and underage gambling. Manny also worked with the Hon. M. Susan Sheppard, P.J.Ch. on a variety of chancery matters, the Hon. Pamela D'Arcy, J.S.C. on post-conviction relief motions, and with the Hon. Joseph E. Kane, J.S.C., ret'd, on recall, on small claims and landlord tenant disputes.

Manny grew up in Hammonton, New Jersey where he takes great pride in the heritage, history and culture of the town.
